| 30/11/2011 WE-1002A is now on sale. 15/9/2011 Manufacturing process has started for the WE-520A. The product should be
available for sale from this site during October. WE-1002A a 1 GHz version of WE-520A is planned to be
released several months after this. Price will initially be in the
region of
£600. A 2.6 GHz version is under development. 24/6/2011 WE-030A is discontinued and replaced by WE-030B. 15/5/2011 Product development for the WE-520A is progressing.
The product should be available around August. Pricing will be
initially in
the
region of £350. The product features are based on the WE-030B.
Frequency range is 1.5 - 520 MHz. I have added some impedance measurement results for the
WE-030B to the site. WE-030B
Accuracy 7/1/2011 The antenna analyzers so far are establishing a
reputation
for ease of use and reliability, with customer feedback remaining very
positive. Development of higher frequency versions is continuing. Development of WE-030B is
completed, and development of higher frequency versions ( 500 MHz and
upwards ) continues. 15/7/2010 Product development for WE-030B is nearly completed.
WE-030B includes the same features as WE-030A, and in addition as a
vector instrument includes Complex Impedance measurement mode.
Additional
parameters displayed are Z=R+j, |Z| , L,C and the magnitude and phase
of the reflection coefficient. Marker resolution has also been improved
to 0.1 dB. The measurement plane can also be altered to allow Impedance
measurement at the end of a length of intermediate coaxial cable.
Calibration uses
industry standard short circuit, open circuit and load terminations to
enable three term error correction. 4/1/2010 Since the launch of WE-030A last August a significant number of these products were sold with zero returns. This is great news. The product has proven so far to be reliable and customer feedback is positive. Over the coming year, we will continue product development to produce new antenna analyzer models, with increased functionality and frequency range for both professional and amateur radio markets. These new models will however, be more expensive than the WE-030A. We also plan to continue marketing the product
exclusively through the internet and to develop the website. Any comments, questions or suggestions? feedback@waterbeachelectronics.co.uk Richard Laver Director.
